Rosie and her husband return to Ireland with a mission to re-visit the family they found on their first discovery on their Gold Wing touring motorbike many years before. They had also planned a book tour in Ireland visiting County Mayo, in particular the Ballycroy, Sligo, Cavan, Galway and more. Rosalie has provided an enchanting descriptive narrative of the beauty of the areas and the unexpected discoveries as their “trusty” Sat Nav insisted on doing it her way.
Following this, they return to Andorra in the Pyrйnйes to join a group of Gold Wing bikers. Travelling independently, they expanded the trip into a journey of memories as they re-visited old haunts. Of course Rosie still had unfulfilled dreams! With her usual “let’s go . . .” they also planned in new places to discover. What started as a small trip expanded into a big trip as they explored the Champagne area;the French Alps; crossed the Spanish border in the Pyrйnйes to enter Andorra from the south; returned into France over the notoriously challenging Pas de la Casa to retrace earlier steps over that feat of engineering the Millau Viaduct; entered the Lot Valley to head north to Versailles and Paris to make another dream of Rosie’s come true.
